Rosewell House

As our first Interior Design project for Rapport Housing & Care (previously Abbeyfield Kent Society) we were very excited to be asked to provide an inspirational and modern interior scheme for the key Communal Areas and a Show Apartment for this extra care scheme.

This scheme of 59 apartments is comprised of a mixture of Rented and OPSO tenancies and the client was keen to make a big impact on any prospective customers with an impressive Show Apartment.

We provided a complete service for the client which included high quality visuals, presentation boards with samples and schedules.  In addition to this we organised the procurement of all the furniture, soft furnishings and accessories, managing the installation and setting out on site.

We were asked to take inspiration from Scandinavian styles, which we kept at the forefront of our design, with clean lines and geometric patterns, whilst also mixing this theme with some stronger warmer colours, luxurious textures and meaningful accessories, to create a beautiful Show apartment which could appeal to people of all ages.

This project was shortlisted for the Inside Housing Development Awards 2019: Best affordable housing development (rural or suburban) and Best older people’s housing development (50+ homes)
