Maylands Court, (Phase II)
Following completion of Phase 1 in 2017, we have been working closely with Hightown Housing Association to develop a second phase providing 157 flats and houses to complete the overall masterplan.
The site has four main elements, made up of 26 x 2 and 3-bedroom houses to the east.
In the middle of the site are two courtyard blocks which vary between 3-5 storeys, and the central feature, a 9 storey tower, closes the existing public square to the west and creates a new landscaped square to the east.
This tower provides retail / commercial space at ground floor with flats above.
The contemporary design of the blocks were well received at the council’s design review panel and a start on site in expected by the summer of 2021.
