Clore Tikva
Flagship project for a new Voluntary Aided Primary School for the Progressive Jewish Community in the London Borough of Redbridge.
In addition to the DfE and LEA requirements, the brief called for flexibility of use by the local community. The site was a vacated allotment surrounded mainly by residential buildings and the new complex comprises a Nursery and double-entry Reception, Infants and Junior Schools.
A number of environmental and energy saving devices have been incorporated, including a passive ventilation system, low energy light fittings, solar panels, rainwater recycling system and use of recycled materials in the landscaped and external play areas.
