Supra House is a new private development of 8 flats within the Woodford Bridge Conservation Area facing onto the Village Green.
This 3-storey development occupies the site of a former spectacle factory and comprises a mixture of 1, 2 & 3-bedroom properties. Each flat has an open plan kitchen linked to an open plan lounge / diner, along with a private metal and glass balcony or patio area.
There is also a communal, south-facing sloping garden with retained mature trees. The scheme incorporates cycle storage and a dedicated car parking space for each flat. Unique second floor flats are formed within the sloping configuration of the roof, which allows the elevation of the building to be articulated by strong gable forms, similar to other
buildings within the area.
The scheme utilised a traditional masonry form of construction with a mixture of brickwork and render for the external skin. The development achieved Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 and incorporates an array of solar photovoltaic panels on the roof of the building
