TFP achieves Silver Investors in People

The Tooley & Foster Partnership has achieved the Silver Investors in People Standard.

Organisations that meet the world-recognised Investors in People Standard reflect the very best in people management excellence. The Standard defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people for sustained success. Silver organisations are considered to be advanced Investors in People.

We first achieved an Investors in People award in 2005. Achieving Silver has been a well-earned acknowledgement of the work that we have been doing around staff and leadership development, including focussing on the future and embracing change.

Jackie Sibley, Investors in People Assessor, said: “Since the last Investors in People assessment in 2014, The Tooley & Foster Partnership has significantly raised its ambitions from ‘creating environments that work’ to that of creating ‘design excellence’ and improving its competitive position so it is recognised as a leading architectural practice. The Partnership is proving its agility in a fragile economic environment since the major downturn in 2008, in the way it harnesses its staff and their skills and expertise and diversifies its client base.

“The Partnership seeks to achieve its ambitions by keeping at the forefront of new practices, materials and regulations and by constantly reviewing, obtaining feedback and improving its techniques whether they be in architecture or people management. There is a strong shift to keep technology as advanced as possible to free staff to utilise their professional skills and to keep these skills as up-to-date as possible through various internal and external learning and development activities.”
