TFP has completed two office-to-residential conversion projects for Verve Properties Ltd
The Market Building is in a prime spot in waterside Brentford. The Tooley & Foster Partnership has restored and developed the building’s mid-century heritage, using its high ceilings and tall windows to create 44 bright apartments, which have all been sold.
There are 36 studio and one-bedroom apartments accommodated within the existing two floors and 8 one and two bed penthouse apartments in a new-build roof extension. The development is designed to encourage a sense of community with its shared clubroom, cinema and central courtyard.
The Pavilion project involved the contemporary conversion of a former office building into 11 high quality one and two-bedroom apartments with extensive communal grounds offering stunning views towards the South Downs.
Graylands Estate was originally built for Boyd Wallis, the owner of a diamond mine; subsequently, it was the headquarters of Redland Bricks. Now, the estate has been regenerated into a vibrant community with small and medium-sized business as well as stylish homes.
The Tooley & Foster Partnership is also responsible for other projects on the estate, including a development of new small business units which is due to be submitted for planning this summer.
