The Practice has a diverse range of expertise in Communal work, exemplified by projects as dissimilar as places of worship, theatres and the public toilets at the Tower of London. A SELECTION OF CURRENT SCHEMES: A new Concert Hall, with ancillary facilities, for an audience of approximately 800, for Saffron Walden County High School. Church refurbishment and new communal facilities in Highams Park. Church extension and refurbishment in Chingford. A SELECTION OF COMPLETED PROJECTS: Downs Road Church in Hackney with 11, one & two bed flats above. The Grange Farm Centre Pavilion and Essex Wildlife Trust's Interpretation Centre in Chigwell, which we won in a limited competition. Church refurbishment for Alton Methodist Church. New Church building with retention of existing Listed front and side faηades, Day Nursery and 28 affordable flats in Wandsworth Road, SW8, for London & Quadrant HA. New Church Hall at St Francis of Assisi in Barkingside. 20 flats and bedsits with communal offices and a cafι in Nags Head Road, Enfield, for Christian Action HA. A 12 GP surgery with attached Church in Luton - the first Health Centre run by SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association). New public toilets and baby changing facilities at The Glades Shopping Centre in Bromley, for Capital Shopping Centres. The remodelling internally and externally of Wokingham Methodist Church in Berkshire. New Salvation Army Halls at Chalk Farm, London NW3 and Wandsworth, London SW18. Beacon Youth Centre, containing a new performance/dance studio, for LB Barking and Dagenham. A new football pavilion in Blackheath for The London Playing Fields Society. The Bradbury Community Centre for Wokingham Methodist Church. Estate Regeneration project for the London Borough of Enfield. A new pedestrian bridge, multi-storey car parks and a landscaped square at Lakeside Shopping Centre in Thurrock, for Capital Shopping Centres. The Gasgoigne Community Centre in Barking. The refurbishment of a Franciscan Friary in Stratford, London E15. The design of a Community Church complex in Brixham, Devon, won in a limited competition. New public toilets at The Tower of London. Brentwood Arts Theatre. The internal refurbishment and re-lighting of a number of churches.
